Hi luke!! (and all other frenziests)
I (andy-a1Trackdays) Have had to for this year give up Sad

Trackdays ,especially ones organised for smaller numbers of riders have simply not been financially viable.

I have been buggered about and promised this and that from circuit owners (not llandow) giving me availble dates then The whole lot got changed --- the circuits(the ones that i wanted) were thankfully bought by John Palmer (motovision).

The next problem was Public Liability .only one company can Quote on this & this premium increased buy over 300% this year.

I never have or will book circuits on days that would require a full booking to make a VERY small profit.

Many organisers are trying to fit in as many riders as possible (ive been out on circuit in a supossed group of 32 ,the true number was 46.

This cannot be safe-and as a responcible organiser,i find this very disturbing.

Circuit hire fees in the Uk will continue to rise to beyond belief.
EG Oulton park 1 day only-midweek £14.000 plus vat and medics etc.
Im sure you will be suprised that for a simple day the full cost to a small organiser would exceed £23.000.

I will be organising days next year , but not at The Major circuits (not unless you would be willing to stump up £160 each Shocked )

This week we have been in touch with some of the well known European circuits.
The difference with dealing with them and the stupidity and arrogance of british companys is beyond me---Its hardly suprising so many riders are booking abroad!.
Rant over.
Thank you for your support--i will kick off again in Febuary
