There is a screw/nut adjuster to slacken off the clutch cable holding it back is not required, However to late for that, has the spring gone pop? if not i can only imagine itll be the shaft going up into the box but youd have to be really pushing to break that i think. If its not the spring at the bottom, then i think you might have to take the g/box out to look at the push rod and the top of the shaft that operates the pushrod!, but its no big deal it comes out easy... if you find out that the box needs to come out and you havent done it before drop me a pm, and ill give you some tips as i found a few things to watch out for. or do a search as i posted my gearbox change here a while ago!
