On the lower pick up, looking at the flywheel and coil windings, there are three wires from the harness. The top pick-up has 2 wires, and the lower 2 wires, with this 3rd wire going no-where. It has a black plug connector piece on it, like a female connector...? On my bike anyway, there is nothing it seems to have once connected to. The wire itself is a faded lime green, and is in what looks like, what was once a fabric covering, bottle green with red stripes in it. It also runs through a little grommet immediately in front of the external clutch mechanism. It's shown in the parts manual Magneto / Cover E7-1 , but not obvious where it goes there either!
