Vibes through footpegs...

wb » Thu Jun 22, 2006 9:18 pm

Hi all.

I've now got my newly acquired MC21 running and riding much better than it was when I got it (thanks for the help and guidance, Andy) and it's no longer trying to kill me by spraying the rear tyre with gearbox oil...

However, I'm still not happy with the amount of vibration I get through the footpegs. I'm assuming that they are all a bit vibey through the pegs like mine? (It's not massively vibey, as though the mains are shot or anthing like that - in fact the motor is newly rebuilt, but it is vibey enough to get in the way of my really enjoying the bike.

The question is: am I just being a big girls blouse or do others find the foot-tickling vibes a pain? Has anyone tried to lessen them. The pegs are rubber topped and I guess this helps, but is there anything else that can be done to dampen the vibes?

Any advice gratefully received

Cheers

Wb
