Well, my nsr is definately a track-only thing, Juls, but we could go for a ride sometime and I'll bring the gixxersixxer. Otherwise we could try to organise a NSR 250 contingent at an upcoming track day! Would you be interested?
Visited CMS this morning to pick up a radiator and spoke to the guys about the MC21 they've got in. Apparently the engine is already reserved for some custom MC28 that the owner's making (its got lower k's or something), but the MC28's motor will be available. Get in quick though - or at least let them know you are after it - as they are all too willing to strip motors and sell the parts seperately!
I guess that could be a good thing for you though timnsr250se - what's actually wrong with your motor? Maybe you could just get the broken parts and fix it on the cheap! Let me know if you are hesitant to strip it down and want some help.
They reckon I should be able to do the 17" wheel conversion for about $220 (MC22 rear wheel + brake assy), but while 18" GPR70's are still available and cheap I don't think I'll bother. I've also got them on the lookout for some cheap pipes for me. Some 2nd hand ones would suit me fine as I'm on a definate budget! Its all about bang for the buck!
