If you use the heads in the original configuration, i.e. an MC18 top head the top, and a bottom head on the bottom, the standard MC21/28 hoses will fit!!

I used an MC18 cylinder on my '21 for a couple of weeks on the bottom, with an MC18 top head, and it mated right up to the HRC style hose without any modification!
