If it was me I`d get it ally tig welded by a good welder.

You can dress it up after & drill & tap a new hole.

Hell of a lot cheaper than a new/ s/h barrel.

I`ve got a spare barrel I got with my bike that someone butchered trying to drill out a snapped exhaust stud. I`m going to have the same thing done to it.
