Its actually to the point now where we book the ENTIRE Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort about 9 months in advance. There is always room for more people as they have free camping at the Resort and there are many other hotels in the area.

Weekends get a bit too crowded on the "Dragon", but there are 100's of miles of other amazing mountain roads in the area. It is well worth the trip regardless of how many miles you have to travel to get there.
