MC18 Servo Motor interchangeable with an MC28 one?

motolite74 » Wed Aug 09, 2006 4:26 am

Hey There...

Am in the process of fixing up a MC18 R4J NSR250SP and it needs a new servo motor. The part no on the servo motor housing is GMN-6MX157A. have found a wrecker here in Sydney (but about an hours drive away) that has a servo motor housing from a MC28 with the part no. GMN-6MX157EM.

Am going to go down there this weekend with the housing and compare it - just curious if anyone knew if they are interchangeable parts.

Thanks for the great site and the fantastic workshop manual but BTW the rear wheel bearing numbers for the R4J/R5K models are wrong or have chnaged since publishing - at least here in Aus. Still looking for the receipts so I can exchange the bearings! lol
