Can anyone advise me on any problems with Nsr's.
Reliability and any problem areas to look out for when buying.

Most problems stem from either poor maintenance or trying to eek out anything over 60~62hp with just enough knowledge to screw things up... badly! Very Happy

Do the minimal derestriction (i.e. wiresplice and airbox/jetting) and leave it at that unless you want to learn in depth what the insides of the motor look like!

Look after all the internal moving parts with fully synthetic oils. Check the RC Valves regularly for carbon build-up, and the cables for correct adjustment, as the weakest part of the bike tends to be the PGM (ECU) if not looked after.

The number of reported PGM deaths has dropped significantly over the last couple of years though, since this Site started barking on about how important it is to keep the cables/Valves in good condition! (At last... we've done something right!! Smile)
