A stock '92 RS250 makes around 72bhp, a '99 RS250 makes about 76bhp. For sure the NX5's and later TZ's will make 80+bhp much easyer than an F3 NSR. At the end of the day the F3 is a mod'ed road bike as well as being over 10 years old so to be beating and getting close to the new full spec RS's and TZ's its doing well.
The F3 has better midrange than both the '96 TZ and the '92 RS but I think feels slower than both because of the lack of dips on the way up. The TZ feels like it pulls harder just because the F3 has such good midrange power.
I dont think there is much more in it, I think the most Matt has had out of one is 76bhp? So if i can get close to 73-74 on unleaded I will be most chuffed.
Heres another couple of graphs. An RG500 vs F3, and my own ex 300 vs the F3. Not much in it for being 50cc up!
