just an update, because I'm trying to figure out if I need new inner + outer clutch hubs....
Threw my original clutch setup back into the bike, but cleaned up in carb cleaner, and I threw all the plates + frictions in, in same order only back to front (so that the worn out teeth were facing backwards, meaning unworn are now taking load) EXCEPT THE INNER AND OUTER STEELS....
The bike now makes a hellava lot less clutch noise, and doesn't slip as much. Far less(!) shudder.
The hubs have approx. 1.5mm wear on the teeth mating surfaces... I am about to order the clutch parts, but can anybody tell me if I should be replacing the hubs? I fear that the teeth on the clutch plates etc may wear prematurely due to the hubs being worn.......
Any advice or help would be highly appreciated!
(ps- are the hubs available new, or does any company/person make billet/cnc hubs? -cheeers, Lachlan)
