No, there not. I've only been stopped once and the guy was ok really. My tyre selection is alittle limited as it runs 16.5" so its slick or wet really.

Given a 17" wheel though I would always run a road legal tyre (whoops I lie, I run a pair of cut slicks on the F3 too, I guess I'm very bad).
