mc28 rev problem

ravenSP » Fri Sep 29, 2006 8:29 pm

heya guys. i have a mc28 fitted with chambers, stock airbox without filter, 152 mjs and i am currently running a 030 card.

have a problem thou, when at 5th and 6th gear, my rpm is only limited to 11,000 rpms. i definately have enough power to pull the bike at that kinda rpm, but just when the rpm needle hits exactly 11,000 rpm, it seems that something cuts power to my bike and the rpm drops all the way down. the power will come back a sec later, but i can never rev past 11k at 5th and 6th gear.

i kinda heard with the 030 (hrc) card, you can rev till 13krpm? its kinda weird having this powercut because my display is showing p030/ctemp just fine (im using a modded harness, not the hrc one). the powercut for the mc28 is at the speed reading right?

any views on this? thanks in adv guys
