The only thing i dont like about 2 strokes is the unreliability,so if the new 2 strokes are reliable then yes i would have one but there are other issues.The reason i love my nsr is more than what stroke the engine is,there are lots of other 2 stroke bikes that i dont like,and i have to admit there are some 4 strokes that i like.the main reason i love my nsr is its the nearest im ever going to get to having a gp bike on the road.I think if you asked any 2 stroke race rep owner what there dream bike to own and have on the road would be i think most would answer "a 500 gp bike"mine being a nsr 500 or yzr 500.So what i trying to say is if they fit the new 2 stroke engine to a new gp rep bike eg 2004 rep nsr 250 then i would have one,but only if they used them in gp,put a new 2 stroke engine in a gsxr or something like then no thanks,whats the point.But maybe part of the loving a 2 stroke for some is the unreliability,i mean what would we talk on this site if they were reliable.
