You need to jack the front wheel clear of the ground, and fit a cable-tie (tie-wrap) to the stanchion (slider). Lower the front-end back on to the gound and then jack it clear again. Measure the distance between the cable-tie and the top of the fork leg for the sag.

What you are referring to is the ride-height.
