Heres the deal, as some of you may know I seized up my engine a few weeks back. Well I bought a used engine off yahoo auction and got it put in.

Heres the problem:
When the bike is in neutral, it rattles as it should, but when I put it into gear the rattle stops. When I'm at a light, its almost impossible to drop it back into neutral (the shifter wont budge). Whats the problem?


My other question is, since my clutch on my old engine is still useable, I tried to swap with the one right now. When I took out the plates from the old engine there were a total of 10. In the engine thats in my bike now, there were 13, and without the damper rubbers.

Anyway I threw in the plates from the old engine into the new one, except now when I pull in the clutch, it wont grab and my bike wont move.

How many plates are there supposed to be? Plus did I do something wrong when putting the plates in?
