Can`t remember on the NSR if the outer pressure plate has to mate with the centre in a certain way. Could be you need to move it round once on the spring mountings? (Rotate in either direction).
Also you haven`t just accidentally put two ball bearings in the pusher by any chance?
Check also that the lever on the left side of the engine is positioned correctly. The inner push rod shaft has to sit in the recess on the shaft of this lever.
