I'm considering getting an NSR250 (probably an MC21, as they're fairly common here in Australia). I was wondering, how much power is possible from the engine, and how hard is it to get?

I don't mind the idea of the 300 kit from Tyga, as a more mid-range oriented power curve might make getting used to a stroker easier. With the 300 kit, what other modifications (apart from exhaust and removing restrictor and such) would I need to get 80HP? Has anyone here got one with that much power? What are some realistic figures from just the 300 kit and other small mods?

The other thing is - what transmission mods would be needed if it did make 80HP? Can the stock MC21 handle that much power?
