Because the NSR has a standard ball push rod bearing it isnt good to load it for long periods (holding the clutch in) and all the load is forced to the side of the bearing. With the clutch disengaged it also lets the plates "rattle" more also causing clutch basket wear... we all do it though Rolling Eyes
