No spark

nsr250racer » Wed Dec 06, 2006 1:23 am

Hi Andy, my nsr is still not starting up. I checked for spark and nothing. Basically, bike is push start only and on the rear wheel stand I had my wife roll rear wheel in 2nd gear switched to run, pulled plug and set on fr head attached to plug connector and no spark at all. HELP! what can this mean?

1) Definitely getting fuel, carbs cleaned and set as per usual
2) Battery charged to 13.2 on volt meter
3) Dry/known working spark plugs used for check
4) Gas (premix 32/1 C12 & Motul800) in tank
5) Fuel flowing through petcock
6) Went through all electrical to be sure nothing was crimped or disconnected

Hmmm, is there something I'm missing? could it be the regulator, stator, HRC Box, PGMIII or ??? Any and all feedback welcomed. NSR gods, please come to my rescue, I want to do the last track day of the year!

Randy - BTW here's a pic of the nsr after last race
