Put the bike in gear and try to turn the engine over with the back wheel. If it doesn't move then your worst case senario is that one of the crank bearings has siezed. Sorry. This happened with my'16, it kicked over fine and then suddenly the kick start locked solid. If the engine isn't siezed then pull the side cover off and you should be able to see how the kick start turns the crank.
