Hello everyone,

I am busy trying to rebuild a MC16, but I see only MC 18 spares seem to still be available. My question is: Are MC18 spares compatible with MC16?, namely piston & rings, head gaskets, base gaskets and crank seals. I know that MC18 barrels can go onto the MC16 cases, but I don't have MC18 barrels, and spares in South Africa are very very scarce.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
