I ran Castrol TTS for years, until I got a deal with Rockoil through work. Never had a problem with it, and it smells great!

As Fontyyy says, you won't have any trouble switching from one oil to another, be it forecourt mineral crap (doubtful) to semi to full synthetic. Only castor based oils (A747, HTX etc.) can't be mixed with non-castor based stuff.
