A jet engine may be slightly more crucial than your standard petroil engine, but mixing mineral and synthetic in a bike, chainsaw, mower, or go-ped won't hurt... except for the black eye one of us would give you for running mineral oil in an NSR in the first place!! A lot of cheap'n'cheerful forecourt oils are mineral based, and it doesn't matter what and where you mix that stuff.
It's only castor based oils that shouldn't be mixed with anything else - or left to stand for any extended period.
For sure though, semi synthetic (the MINIMUM you should use in an NSR/RGV/TZR/KR1) is fine to mix with fully synthetic, and any brand can be mixed with any other brand, so topping up and then switching to TTS from Motul or any other brand is quite acceptable. Rockoil works fine for me, and if I can't get it, then TTS is my second choice. I have no qualms about topping up my Rockoil Synthesis 2 with Castrol TTS, although now I have a preference I will always try to stick to the one brand.
