Years ago, when I first met Paul, he was riding an MC21 (standard) to work and back in Bangkok. He sold that and bought an MC28 (standard) and commuted on that. He loved it right up until the point we took my 75hp 28 off the dyno and put his on at a miserable 38hp He left the bike at the workshop and got a taxi home. Next time he rode it, it was kicking out 65hp without an HRC card and he's not had a standard NSR since that day, and any concerns he had with fuel economy went into the trash, along with his standard pipes.
