i think is caused by incorrect flow with out pressure meaning that you have to kick more than one time for the carbs to suck the fuel.

hello, just check inside your tank, there should be a filter already there. so inline filter isnt required, However if the one in the tank has been removed i recomend you get one quick. Looks nice !!!
