Well, 18 months after buying a damaged MC21, I have finally completed my Tohru Ukawa replica project. The main reason it took so long was that the first thing I had to buy was a house with a garage
Spec includes:
Tyga 250 GP bodywork (street).
Tyga stainless exhausts.
Tyga meter stay.
NK racing one off carbon end cans.
RVF400 USD forks & yokes.
Ducati 999R Brembo 4 pot 4 pad calipers.
NK racing caliper brackets.
ZX10R clutch lever bracket.
ZX10R front brake master cylinder.
CRG folding adjustable levers.
HEL brake lines.
WR's rearsets.
HRC rear brake reservoir.
Paint by Darren at Rutland Airbrushing. (All logos airbrushed).
Renthal grips.
The engine is standard except for an M-Max box and modded airbox. It was set up on the dyno by Chris at Road & Track Dyno and is putting out 62.2bhp.
Future mods are to fit an underslung Brembo rear caliper, adjustable rear shock (Ohlins or SE/SP), dry clutch, and a digital dash.
I don't want this to turn into an emotional Oscars speech, but I would like to thank Mark at M&M Motorcycles for his advice & help throught this project. His half hour of training with Mick Doohan's suspension guru has transformed the NSR .
Here are some pics, hope you like it. (The first one is a "before shot"):
