Got to agree with Andy. All my experiments with high compression were backward steps. Raise the compression you lose overrev and the engine stops like it hits a brick wall. I run about 9.5 ~9.7cc not including plug hole. About 11.5 to the top of the plug hole.
The possibility of Det goes up.
I tried a set of 8.5cc heads gained low to mid, and hit a brick wall at 10,500. No overrev and down a hp at the top.
