Racing an MC21 as a 300 isn't necessarily going to solve where you run in the pack, because if you race in a series that allows 300cc 2-strokes, then generally the bikes and riders you are up against are going to be bloody fast!

No 300 I've ever ridden has been as quick as a properly sorted 250.

As a (fast) road bike however, the 300 will be superb for the vast majority of riders. The main benefit of the kit is the fact you are getting all brand new components - some people don't like re-plated cylinders, and OEM Honda plating is the bollox! Smile

To say the 300 is built on machined 150SP barrels though is a little bit of an understatement. It is a very comprehensive kit, a lot of machining, and took a lot of (continuing) development.

My single piece of advise if you are seriously considering a 300 kit though, is to ask TYGA about a Wiseco piston option. Every kit is made to order, so you want it tailored to the pistons while it's all being machined up.
