There's no advice, as there's no restriction. They were produced before the Jap law came into force, so make as much as they were designed to.

They can make more, but it't not simple or free to find.

The main consideration with an MC16 is the age and parts availability. Not great these days sadly.

Not too bad a price if it'sa completely original and very clean, but you could get an MC21 for that, albeit a little tired round the edges. It will however make a lot more power, a lot more cheaply, and parts on the whole are still available through your Honda dealer.
