i raced triumph sidecar outfits in the 80s and raced at a big famous track in belgium but was the monkey in the chair. I once raced an mz sidecar outfit (chuckle chuckle) and highsided (more of a dig in and flip) it at mallory hairpin. If only the sponsorship deals had materialised and dunlop had manufacture their one off B roadrunner i'd have been rubbing shoulders with the best. won a bronze and silver enduro medal, sadly i don't think this is the story you are looking for. mind you if i get into classic racing 2stroke...who knows how fast i'll be if i can only curb the crashing.
