the chambers lengthen the inlet length creating more torque and hp at lower revs. they also absorb negative pulses when the reeds are closed stoping blow back and keep mixture flowing in one direction Razz.

you can probly get a bit more top end which is good if u plan on keeping the engine above 7000rpm but not if your not.
