This is going to be expensive!

So my first South East race weekend went tits up on Saturday morning.

Fresh top end was working good. Had two heat cycles in it before getting to the track, and a third one first thing in the morning. Went out to break in the top end, and went fine for the fist session. The second session was going okay, when on the second lap coming into the last turn the bike seized. Got the clutch in just as it happened, and coasted it into the pits.

Lost the big end bearings on the lower cylinder. Checked everything out and all looked good. No issues with the top end, the reed valves looked good, jetting was fine, bike was at 65 degrees.

With a race August 12th, and traveling for the next two weeks, I am in a pinch to get it put together. Hopefully I can talk to the tuner who built the engine today and he will be able to take the engine and get it fixed by then.

I just need to find out if he can, what he needs off the engine, and get that ripped out tonight and boxed up so it can be shipped out tomorrow before I take off. Then get on the phone and order all the parts needed.
