crank actually has two part #'s. One an NX5 and the other an NXA. I don't think it matters what you order, you get the same thing.
The crank is just under $1000.00. I have a spare backup, but would rather just buy a new one and keep the spare for a really rainy day.
I think overall, I will be looking at just udner $2000.00 for all the parts and it being built by one of the top 250 tuners in the US (spent a couple hours on the phone with him yesterday getting things lined up).
Just need to get it pulled, cleaned and shipped (this weekend will be fun)
As for the low failure count. Yes Andy, the Honda's have treated me well. I have had a lower end failure on an NSR, but with 30000 kilometers on it, I only expected that to happen. I have never had any other failures on my race bikes, and only one top end booboo on my girl friends bike I was working on for her.
I just need to go through and figure out what really happaned on this one, as I felt it was all good. may go fatter on the mains and the slows as things seemed a little "dryer" then normal on the plugs. Being at sea level with higher humidity may have been my downfall, and my normal high range may have needed to be lifted for safe jetting.
