Here's the old bus at Llandow yesterday;
The bike absolutely flew around the track (even allowing for my relative inexperience ) swallowing up 250's and spitting them out with ease. The midrange grunt is just fantastic out of the turns, making life both easy and forgiving. Riding behind an R6 it had exactly the same acceleration down the straights (the bugger got in the way in the corners though )
The handling seems very biased to the front end, with a direct steering response and precise turn in (a bit slappy on the straight mind...hence the damper). Wether this sharpness comes from having more weight on the front end (the forks do sag a bit) I don't know, but it's wonderfully taut and crisp. Wb's track prepped 3XV in comparison felt soft, worn out and gutless (Although it is tired, which is a fair excuse).
Was it worth the effort? Of course it bloody was.....the bike's a f*?!ing missile!
And thanks to Andy for sorting the graphics for me
