if you haven't ridden one of these before then you are in for a treat.
well come to the Daddy forum.
i like most of the people here have ridden and owned nice bikes but for the money i've got say i think the mc16 is a beauty on the road.
Okay zero torque but learning to keep the power on pipe is a joy and the brakes can stop the thing from 100mph like nothing else...honest.
and the honda twin vibe and sound is pure magic to the ears. mine is an 87 and just did my first 160 (distance that is) via eastbourne this weekend without any major problems and didn't get any oil on the silk shirt either.
don't think you'll get much in the way of trick parts for it unless you are prepared to pay, machine or spend plenty of hours on the tools. my advice standardise it and spend the money on petrol, insurance, tax, tyres, oil and quaility maintenance parts. it looks trick enough and lets face it, when it's on pipe nobody will see the blemishes or cracks.
Did the original freddy spencer rep have Honda MC11 astralite wheels...nice?
Andy can you put a separate page for mc16 owners.?
