Now you see, having a normal (non HRC, F3, blah blah blah) 250 pays dividends here as it just means I have to keep an eye out on ebay for a (nother?) barrel and piston set or two for stock. O.E. Honda plating never rips off, so it's not a hours work for even an amateur barrel swapper like me. It really is a bigger job (and a less frequent one) to swap the spark plugs on an RVF.
I wasn't too keen on doing the top on on the road bike though, it was easy enough to get it all back on but getting it off was a right fiddle, bloody oil pump...
