I used to get it to about 6k ish, quick dip of the clutch and light reef on the bars whilst nailing it, gets it up ok. That was on a tired motor. Havn't attempted one with the fresh donk.
Carrys through first change into 2nd and it starts coming down as i never accually get it to a balance point for fear of going over
Depends what model you have. Mine is a 21 SE. With i shorter 1st cog, it would be easier.
