I had a look at how the guy made me into premix. he simply just put a small ball in the tube from the oil tank to the pump, so that my pump is still running but with no oil (dry) > guess i know where that clater sound is coming from.
the drive shaft seems to be fine and there is a good closure petween the pump to the transmission box so no drip drip there!
i notice that there is a little free play in the cable, it will be stiffed out around 1/10 of throtle does that need to be changed or not?
thanks andy, i will keep a look out for that pump. by the way now i have removed the ball that was blocking the oil path how do i know if the pump is working with out another dry cylinder?
