If you can drink your tap water its good enough for an engine i reckon so long as its clear

I wouldnt ever use tap water it is very corrosive and can eat aluminium!
I only ever use bottled motorcycle coolants which should have an anti freeze agent built in. I have a bottle of Putoline in the shed and the label says it is good to -36c and that its aluminium friendly!
