Chassis number is on the headstock on the right-hand-side. Turn the steering to the left, then you will see it stamped on the frame.

Engine number is stamped into the casing just below and behind the kickstart, to the rear of the clutch cover.

ALL NSR casings are stamped MC16E*, not just the MC16's!!
