The RC servo will only "sweep" back to its reset position if the it was in the incorrect position when the ignition was switched off.

A simple test is to turn the motor to Hi with the ignition off, then turn the ignition on. The servo should sweep, but in one direction only.

The best test is to disconnect the T.P.S., turn the ignition on, and watch for the servo to open to Hi. Turn the IGN off, reconnect the T.P.S., and turn the IGN back on again. The servo should then reset to Lo.
