Open Discussion is the new Supporting Members section. There will be several benefits of subscribing, from discounts with various companies to more relaxed forums for chat.

It's in the early stages of development, so the format is still being worked on with a few already-subscribed Members. There will be a MotoGP/WSB/BSB/AMA/club etc forum, and the topics in the general area, whilst still more technically biased, will be more relaxed than the free section. In fact, the free section will probably become even more strict and technical to encourage readers to sign up and have a say in how their subscribed area looks.

It's been discussed a lot in this thread.
