Yep, the pistons will go on there, one way or another. You'd have to sort out the NX cylinder height anyway, so piston height differences aren't a big issue. Just deck it accordingly.
First issue to overcome is the stud pattern differences. NX5 are slightly narrower at the back, so I can see a bit of welding and drilling necessary right from the off, but hey ho.
