Well as of right now you can look for yourself and see MC28 Expansion chambers on the TYGA website for £330 and then on the Jap performance website for £430Andy wrote:Yes, but there is/was also a growing network of distributors around the world that are prepared to hold local stock. There's benefits in both modes of purchase. Stock already in your home country is usually delivered promptly and definitely without added charges other than postage though.
I agree, it's great going to source, but we all need middle-men. Some companies won't sell direct at all though, so you'd be stuck without the dealers who are prepared to invest in quantities of stock. If the cutting of dealer discounts is indeed the reason for the price increase, it's underhanded in my opinion because it makes TYGA direct look cheap and the dealers as a rip-off, which I don't think is the right way to go about it. If I've been told wrong though, then I apologise.
What got me though is that pipes for some other bikes have not gone up?
And I felt it strange how the price went up just after I had enquired. What ever has happened I am now looking else where
Again yes I can cope with a hike because of material costs but
£330 too £430? That’s some increase
