I wonder if I am the only one here coming up 200cc short; anybody else on the smaller 2-strokes? 150-50cc guys, where art thou?
Here is my little chainsaw.
It had a leaking tank petcock that has since been replaced but it stained the frame. That will get taken care of when the frame gets refinished next year.
A previous owner peeled the tail sticker off but other than that all the graphics are complete and the bodywork is in good condition considering.
I was getting tired of dragging my shoes in corners so I bought these Posh backstep plates that kick the stock rear sets up and back (the red piece). Not as good as true aftermarket rear sets but it got the job done for now.
I like more than an idiot light for crucial things. With the tiny fanless radiator the bike comes with and sweltering summer heat I wanted to keep tabs on my coolant temps. Kitako makes this nice simple digital gauge that's sensor goes into the head at the stock location.
I didn't respect what the bike was telling me one day and blew a sweet hole in the piston. I stepped up to a Kitako high comp piston. While I had it tore down I replaced the reeds with some Kitako carbon fiber reeds and tore the airbox out so I could put a podfilter on it. I rejetted the carb and it runs real nice. The carb is loud without the airbox.
I am accumulating parts for a complete brake system overhaul and have my eye on some amazing new fiberglass bodywork.
