Jet kits/setting kits...

Andy » Thu Mar 11, 2004 1:45 pm

The only setting kit that comes with instructions in English is the Jha kit, but consider them only install instructions NOT JETTING INSTRUCTIONS. Their baseline setting calls for open carbs, pre-mix, high compression heads, and 105 race fuel at least!

Jha and HRC are the 2 only comprehensive "setting" kits, complete with the + and Y pieces, adjustable needles etc. Other kits like Daytona are purely "jet" kits, i.e. contain a range of different main jets and slow jets (and maybe needles, I think).

Go direct to Jha for their kit, it's unlikely you will be able to get an HRC from a Honda dealer outside Japan anymore (even then you may struggle!) so try TYGA Performance for an HRC kit.

In the US, I believe Tony Munoz (someone will correct me if I'm wrong!) can get HRC setting kits. I think Charles knows who I mean!

Andy.
