hi, i am thinking the water pump mechanical seal on my mc18 r5k has gone, losing water from the rad and gearbox oil is grey not been like this long as i keep an eye on the water regular and changed the gearbox oil recently and it was ok looking.

is the seal hard to change, its the ceramic type i think, common to many hondas so the part is easy to get.

are their any hints, tips, things to avoid doing when fitting the seal ? obviously i will need clutch cover gasket, pump gasket & seal set

i ask because i hear they are easy to damage when fitting, anyone know the correct install method ?

one more question ! is the mc18 clutch cover (wet clutch) & water pump gasket the same as the mc21 gasket ?
