I agree with your sentiments regarding older bikes looking like they have had some life experience, with the odd mark or two.
Mine however is the NSR version of the Keith Richards look
, with the front cowl totally mullered and most of the other panels damaged beyond repair.
I will be keeping my eyes peeled for panels as they become available to get a complete set, and spray them up into the rothmans scheme. I have already got my Rothmans sticker set ready.
Anyhow, this is a bit premature, I need to crack the mechanical issues first as I plan to ride it, not have it as a garage queen
